Ahhhh.....I'm shrinking!

Do you ever feel like your house is caving in on you? I feel that way right now. It feels like we have stuff everywhere. We really don't, but there are two rooms in particular that are driving me nuts.

Our guest room a.k.a Santa's workshop, this room has been the wrapping and storing room of all of our presents for our families and friends. Now post all the Christmas fun, here we have shoved all of Addison's toys, presents, and items we haven't found a home for yet. Also, my husband who hates clutter, has taken all of Addy's toys that didn't fit in the toy box in the living room and put them in there until we take down the Christmas decorations. Needless to say there is no way we could have someone else sleep much less walk in that room.

The other room driving me bonkers is the upstairs room. To me that room is just plain annoying anyway. It is a room that is above the garage, so it does not get properly heated or cooled. It is also a very weird shape, think long narrow barn. And we never go up there. Right now that room has our coffee table, we are trying to avoid any unnecessary bumps while little miss is learning to toddle. Also, it is an explosion of tubs. Most are the fall decorations and tubs  (ya I know, I never quite put those away before putting up Christmas decorations), Christmas decoration tubs, empty tubs (I got a really good deal ont them, in my mind you can never have enough things to put things in), and baby stuff Addison has grown out of. Oh yeah smashed on the end is Tim's man cave. His space is slowly going bye bye.

So my goal before 2010 leaves us for good is to organize these rooms. Now to me that sounds like fun, sorting, putting things in boxes, and getting rid of unneeded items. To Tim he just wants to shake me and say enough. He doesn't like clutter, but he is okay just shoving things unorganized in an area that we don't use much. I guess if he doesn''t see it that is fine with him, which shows you how much he uses that man cave these days. He really just goes up there to escape in C.O.D land. I can't tell you how many times I have organized the kitchen with all of the different baby phases we have been through. The last time he told me to "JUST STOP MOVING EVERYTHING"! Well, of course I didn't listen and two hours later our tupperware was organized and stored all nicely. See honey was that so bad? Well, honey I hate to tell you but the organization queen is back. We are going to have some fun on our week off and get this house organized before we go back to work.
