Ahhhh.....I'm shrinking!
Do you ever feel like your house is caving in on you? I feel that way right now. It feels like we have stuff everywhere. We really don't, but there are two rooms in particular that are driving me nuts.
Our guest room a.k.a Santa's workshop, this room has been the wrapping and storing room of all of our presents for our families and friends. Now post all the Christmas fun, here we have shoved all of Addison's toys, presents, and items we haven't found a home for yet. Also, my husband who hates clutter, has taken all of Addy's toys that didn't fit in the toy box in the living room and put them in there until we take down the Christmas decorations. Needless to say there is no way we could have someone else sleep much less walk in that room.
The other room driving me bonkers is the upstairs room. To me that room is just plain annoying anyway. It is a room that is above the garage, so it does not get properly heated or cooled. It is also a very weird shape, think long narrow barn. And we never go up there. Right now that room has our coffee table, we are trying to avoid any unnecessary bumps while little miss is learning to toddle. Also, it is an explosion of tubs. Most are the fall decorations and tubs (ya I know, I never quite put those away before putting up Christmas decorations), Christmas decoration tubs, empty tubs (I got a really good deal ont them, in my mind you can never have enough things to put things in), and baby stuff Addison has grown out of. Oh yeah smashed on the end is Tim's man cave. His space is slowly going bye bye.
So my goal before 2010 leaves us for good is to organize these rooms. Now to me that sounds like fun, sorting, putting things in boxes, and getting rid of unneeded items. To Tim he just wants to shake me and say enough. He doesn't like clutter, but he is okay just shoving things unorganized in an area that we don't use much. I guess if he doesn''t see it that is fine with him, which shows you how much he uses that man cave these days. He really just goes up there to escape in C.O.D land. I can't tell you how many times I have organized the kitchen with all of the different baby phases we have been through. The last time he told me to "JUST STOP MOVING EVERYTHING"! Well, of course I didn't listen and two hours later our tupperware was organized and stored all nicely. See honey was that so bad? Well, honey I hate to tell you but the organization queen is back. We are going to have some fun on our week off and get this house organized before we go back to work.

Santa
Yesterday, we went to Bass Pro to visit Santa. We love going there because we get a free picture and we are allowed to take pictures with our own camera for free. We love free!!! So we dressed Addison up in her Christmas tutu outfit. I know a little over the top, but SO much fun. My thought is, cute her up now while she has no say. Then later in life when she sees all the pictures I can embarrass her in front of any would be boyfriends. All a ploy to keep her all to myself forever. Mwahhaha. Anywho, here are the pictures from her encounters with Santa....
Tim has decided that next year he will start dresssing like Santa, so that it is not such a scary experience for our little lady.
Mom, who is this scary guy....
Why would you just put me on some strange guys lap?
Then laugh and take pictures of me.
Well... maybe he is not to bad.
Dad, get me outta here!

And here Addy is one year ago.

Welcome!
Hello all. I have decided to give the blog thing a try. I will mostly be posting pictures of our life as a fun family of three. Always on the go and having so much fun! We will see how this journey goes. I may give up and decide it is not for me, or it may turn out to be another fun hobby. I am hoping this is a good way to communicate what is happening in our life to all of our family and friends. I leave you with a wonderful present sent from above.
P.S. I am trying out the blog name to see how it fits. If anyone has any other suggestions send them my way. I am looking for something fun and cute.
